The shark, to many people, means swiftness for their deceivingly smooth movement, efficiency for their ability to take out pray in a single attack, aggression for their blood thirsty attacks and grisly display of teeth, and taking what you want because a shark is rarely shy about that.
The shark is an apex predator. These are predators that are known to help regulate food chains. This could mean that sharks symbolize a natural and necessary aggressive element which helps to make sure that other species don’t grow wildly out of control, disrupting the ecosystem for everyone else.
